Mercedes-AMG unveils its GT SUV tonight in Stuttgart

AMG's first in-house full-size SUV premieres at the 140 Festival.

Mercedes-AMG will hold the world premiere of its new GT SUV today, Oct 17, at 6:30 p.m. CEST (9:30 a.m. PT), during the 140 Festival at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart. Mercedes-Benz is streaming the reveal.

Mercedes-Benz Automobil AG, the Swiss importer, calls it the first full-size SUV developed in-house by Mercedes-AMG and says first customer deliveries are expected in early 2027. German site MB Passion reports it is the second model on AMG's new AMG.EA electric platform, after the AMG GT four-door, that it will be built in Sindelfingen with engineering led from Affalterbach, and that AMG brand ambassador Brad Pitt will attend.
